A Deprived Childhood

Never tried it.

I always wanted Silly String too…

  1. Silly Putty implies the existance of Serious Putty, which is commonly known as C-4. btw, I heard Silly String is very useful on thwarting those pesky gubmint cameras that are popping up everywhere lately.

    1. BB guns are also very effective on those cameras...

    2. I was laughing like hell…in Old Blighty, they put on masks and cut down the camera masts with cordless angle cutters. Often to the applause of passersby…πŸ˜‚πŸ‘

  2. I had a can of silly string. Took to work. Was showing a guy a maintenance task on an airplane that used Skydrol hyd. fluid. Told him to wait while I got a can of "Skydrol spray". Sprayed all over his face. He about shit his pants! Skydrol is hell on your eyes. I been an asshole all my life.

    1. Me too, Tex. If I acquired silly string I’d probably end up in the can for 30 days for aggravated vagrancy and mischief. With great power comes great responsibility…and I ain’t up to it…

  3. We used to do this all the time back in the day. After a while though the Silly Putty would get kinda grey, so the images wouldn't render very well. No problem though, as Silly Putty also bounced like a super ball. For a failure at an attempt to create synthetic rubber, Silly Putty sure was one hell of a hit when it was sold as a toy! The guy who decided to market the stuff paid a whopping $147.00 US for the rights to the formula!

    1. That’s right! That crap bounced like crazy! I’d forgotten that. I remember kids chasing all the way down the street after it!
HAR HAR HAR! I wonder how they didn’t lose it?
