Looking At The Mess We’ve Made…

I’m sorry everyone, but I had to give myself a promotion. General Aesop had to be fired along with other fakes and phonies of the Globohomo military. I’d a thunk a parrot could replace him, to be honest…but…good lord! There’s guys out there even DUMBER than he is! Some other poseur was airing out his fetid cranium and said “the Russians are incapable of maneuver warfare!!! HAR HAR HAR!!! HAR HAR HAR!!! General Aesop, come back!!! We need you!!! HAR HAR HAR!!! All is forgiven!!!!

🤣👍

So… BC hands us this li’l Russian turd burger:

…and wondering what it’s for…

The tread head says this is a classical Russian pincer movement in the making and I think I agree. In fact, I think I see two pincer movements going on…seems to be a smaller one in progress down at the bottom. My question is - why? Why here…? I have a lot of fun ragging on General Aesop but hell’s bells…I’m doing far better at predicting Crazy Ivan’s strategy…but that ain’t saying much. According to my scholarly prognostications… I’da thunk they’d be moving on Odessa… what in hell is in Avdiivka?

So far’s I know…we’re talking about 30 square clicks, here. Reportedly there are some major railheads here, and some big major roads lead out of it. So…? But… as the Russians have amply demonstrated, they ARE capable of maneuver warfare or they wouldn’t be surrounding the district in the first place. The only thing I can see that recommends it as a strategic target is… that it is chock FULL of Uke squaddies. That means they’ll be dug in, they’ll be fortified out the wazoo, and getting them out will involve lots of dynamite, blood, road rage and Russian casualties. (Please note: all critiques of my thought process are welcome in the comments. Unlike former General Aesop… we are about objectivity here - not parroting current mass media propaganda).

If the only reason to take Avdiivka is to kill lots of Ukrainians… this could mark a major change in tactics, maybe? To date the Russians have been remarkably casualty averse. With the firepower they have on the front lines they could take the ‘Kraine and hold it and even menace Poland while they’re at it. Could they be finished with that restraint? Are they going to let the Ukes keep Odessa?

If I am missing something here - feel free to spout off in the comments. Your two cents, as always - is sincerely appreciated.

Hope you’re all having a great Friday with big things on the slate for the weekend.

Cheers!

Filthie

  2. My understanding is that there is a large base of some sort being defended there... already under siege... but that doesn't answer your question... which can be seen as two questions... why do the russians want to take that area so much, and why do the ukes want to defend it so much?

    Biolabs? Excellent observation...

  3. Yankees? We don't need any stinking yankees.
Look up Heavenly Jerusalem project for S. Ukraine sponsored by insane in the mem brain oligarch with tatted up skank in the video.
    You'll catch a contact high.
Massive KIA the past few days with zero to show for the UKEs who can't WAR.

  4. Putin told us what they're gonna do. They're gonna de-militarize Ukrainia. They're gonna de-notzeefy Ukrainia. They're gonna deny a NATO foot hold.
They are casualty shy, casualties are (surprisingly?) unpopular among Russian troops. The stories of mass Ogre slaughter are Western propaganda hopium.
Current Russian war doctrine dictates that you artillery, rocket, missile, bomb, defensive areas with relatively inexpensive munitions, until they can't defend anymore.
When Russia has made the move to Odessa, the next logical step, it will happen. The Russian General Staff goes back over 1000 years, they took notes, they studied everybodies wars, both sides. The Russians don't go after territory for territories sake, they take ground because it's appropriate to take it. Just look at the Ukies obsession with taking territory, only cost them about a half million, so far. Now they're running out of cannon fodder, so the long slow westward defeat begins.
Don't forget, let your bombardment convince them to not kill Russian soldiers.
The feckless West is abandoning them, (for lack of stomach, munitions and money) so they are DOOOOOMED!

  5. The Russians are attacking Avdika because (((Zelensky))) is determined to defend it to the last Ukrainian Christian. The crossroads are operationally important for the Russians to hold that area in the future.

The point of attrition warfare is to kill as many of the enemy at the lowest cost possible. (((Zelensky's))) strategy (besides making himself rich) seems to be to exterminate all the Christians in Ukraine, so the Jews will have an empty new homeland later on.

  6. News reporting Russia took the city overnight when the ukes fled rather than be encircled. Wiki says the city is home to the largest coke plant in the country but has veen idle since 22 when most citizens fled. I'd say that if still intact its good resource to have but i doubt its intact

  7. I came across a couple of recent articles (one RT and one NYTimes - talk about opposing narratives.)
Narrative aside, both of them indicate that Adeevka is/has been a forward staging base for UKR to threaten/shell Donetsk.

  8. Howdy Glen. One of the main reasons is that it was an absolute fortress that the orcs used to lob heavy artillery into downtown Donetsk and the DPR. It was only about 7km from the primary city. They liked to target bakeries, concerts and schools etc.

I hope some of those cannon cockers get caught up in the fire sack. The videos on telegram are filled with scenes of carnage – bodies everywhere. Good – there are no good Nazi’s but plenty of newly dead ones.
