Oh the irony Glen. LOL! You love those silly plastic fantastic shoes and yet havent wholeheartedly embraced the phenomenal Glocks. Their .45s are excellent. Ask tiny and he will agree. Yea they're ugly and alot of 2Gs ruin their image yet BFD. They are affordable, accurate (once you replace the sites…. ameriglows…hackathorne, defore etc) and they’re pretty sturdy too. Embrace the ugliness and realize they are pretty much the Croc of firearms LOL.

HEY! Don't forget, back in the 80's Glock dropped all the competition pistols AND their G17 out of a helicopter at 300 feet above the headquarters parking lot for a gun writer advertising promo.
DeleteThey were all inop, except the Glock (they did a mag dump into a bullet trap). Next they fly it up to 600 feet, do it again! GAAHH!! The grip cracked at the mold seam. No biggy, another mag dump.
Another big seller was, when it came out, that range rental Glocks were running 200,000 to 300,000 rounds with only recoil springs and mags wearing out.THAT'S what sold me on the Plastic Fantastic.
Still carrying, shooting, the G19 I bought in '91. On my 4th set of night sights, they're only a couple years old, so they might outlast me.
Right you are Mike. I have Colts, Sigs, Berettas and Glocks and the ugly Glock 30s has endeared itself to me as my #1 goto concealed carry. Have had it for years (Austria made) and love it dearly! Also got several extended 13 round mags for the range. Eddie
