Well it seems as if a New Era is dawning in Canada with the much anticipated departure of Turdo La Doo. Will there be any improveMINT now that (our appropriately named) new Swine Minister - Mark Carney - is in charge? Maybe a little - he's shit-canned Turdo's hated carbon tax... but there is talk he will just reintroduce it later when the political tides have changed. Turdo was obviously an idiot ideologue, whereas Carney is your typical fart catcher liberal bag man. If you bribe him or threaten him he will fold like a cheap tent. Hopefully some of this lunatic woke nonsense will go away. Canadian conservatives everywhere are melting down - and I was becoming one of them - but in the real world all you can do is either ignore it, or shout at the clouds, or pick up a shotgun. The realpolitik of the situation here is that just under one third of us are so stupid that Turdo would get re-elected again if that were an option. Smol Pee Pee is likewise taking an adversarial tone with Orange Man, but at least he understands that if we piss off our major trading partner - we will have to replace that lost business. Unfortunately the little midget is dumb enough to think that's possible. As an ex-senior marketing guy - America will be working on those foreign customers too, and they have far, far more to offer them than we do. From where I sit, if we try to cut America out of our customer base, it is going to hurt us badly. I personally have mood swings between spittle and rage, and fatalism and resignation on the matter. I am now a full blown Alberta separatist and if Blumpf wants a 51st State... I would like him to consider us in Alberta first and treat us accordingly.
But... whadda I know? All I know for sure is that it takes an awful big dawg to f*** an elephant, and that there is nothing I can do about it. Maybe that's a good thing too...? BAH.

I have been neglecting my fragile mental health and ignoring too many productive things in life. One of my winter projects was going to be a quick build of an electric RC foamboard trash plane. There is a retarded black kid on OyToob that builds them and he knows his stuff but isn't bright enough to teach any of it. My first build was truly dismal and I cut it up and threw it in the garbage because it was so bad. I then found this Russian guy who takes the process seriously. The only problem is that he is Russian И все, что он пишет, на кириллице. But he does have rudimentary english skills and OyToob has translation functions that will help me figure him out. Trash plane II is coming along and should fly providing I don't do anything stupid in the rest of the build. All I gotta do know is hook up the control surfaces and figure out the balance and I should be good to go. All I need after that is an empty field with no cows or people around.

The stubfart/retard bloggers and friends I follow are all starting seeds and I am just green with envy and rage. March is doing its usual in like a lamb, out like a lion thing and winter is taking another run at us. For a week there, though... we had mild day time temps above freezing and melting ice and snow everywhere. I want to start a tobacco crop. I am probly going to need a new pipe this year as my old one is getting smoked out.
I was going to make one awhile ago and even have a blank to start carving on... but as I said, I have let myself become distracted by foolish things and time sucks that have no place in my world. I will resurrect that project too in the near future. If this project runs as most of my efforts do I will probly cut off my fingers and have to buy a cheap corn cob, HAR HAR HAR!!! I wonder if a guy can make a trash pipe out of styrofoam and foam board too...?

There are so many things I want to get after - the motorcycle needs new skins and a tune up, the dawg crap needs to be picked up, I want to tear apart my front veranda and refurb it, blah blah blah. On top of all that I need to get out in my tiny A frame camper more too... but it's all on hold as these last days of winter offer only excruciating boredom for the most part. But that is its own blessing too. I know men my age that deal with drama and exciteMINT daily in their lives... and I am truly thankful I am not one of them! HAR HAR HAR!!!!
It may sound back handed but is meant in all sincerity and good will: I hope you are boring and mundane too...

Ughhhh… I am so sorry about that. Over the course of my career I got PTSD from fuggin email. Now that I’ve retired I’ve taken to ignoring my email and it really pisses people off. I’m trying to be better about it, but I keep getting flashbacks to work where I got 40 or 50 a day and sorting the junk from the relevant stuff could eat half my day. It made me want to scream sometimes. Some people don’t text, I don’t do email well.

Canada simply does not have the means or ability to maintain its sovereignty, the posturing of our political class notwithstanding. I'd go even further and say that our sovereignty is already significantly compromised. They like to say their usual trite slogans like 'Canada is not for sale', but for the last 60 years (at least), our political and senior bureaucratic class - people we trusted to look after the country - absolutely WAS and still IS for sale. Because of this, Canada never had a chance. Project Sidewinder all but confirmed this.
A suggestion: take a look at Sam Cooper's book, 'Wilful Blindness' - it's far worse than you think.

ReplyDeleteI dunno, Glen. Central Banker Carney is a Goldman Sachs veteran, and holds degrees from Harvard and Oxford. Those guys (GS) are neither stupid nor lazy. And they’re tough minded and ruthless — most definitely not pushovers. Personally I believe they do great evil, but they work very very hard at it, and they’re smart. As to the universities, I don’t know much personally about Oxford, but I’ve been dealing with Harvard (at least part of it) for decades. There are indeed some stupid people there (DEI types and the - fewer, but beloved of stereotype - slow witted legacies) but there are a lot of smart and hard working people at Harvard. Personally I think Harvard is responsible for a great deal of wickedness and corruption of the West, but the bad people their worked tirelessly to achieve their wins. In that regard, Carney is likely more dangerous than Justin Trudeau.
Fidelito got by on the Trudeau name, his looks, and superficial charm. But he’s either not very smart, or got lazy depending on the name and charm, and forgot how to be smart.
