Deadly Ammunition

When I was a kid you’d see these advertised in the gun n’ outdoor tags. Never saw them up here in fuggin Canada though. When it came to .177 pellets you got whatever they had at the hardware store and that’s IT.

Now you can get multi calibre air guns with tracers and tannerite ammo.

I had a deprived childhood! 😂👍

  1. I had two of the pistols that shot these darts. The first one came with a dart board target. They each lasted about two weeks before the springs degraded to the point the dart/BB/pellet would just dribble out the muzzle.

  2. I can only imagine the fun I would have had, and trouble I would likely have gotten into, if I had the tannerite .177 pellets as a kid. As it is, I am wondering if tannerite 22lr is feasible.

  3. LMAO i had some of those darts as a kid. I have no idea what they were for but I had them. Good memories. The vids of tannerite ammo used on squirrels is awesome. I “diesel” my .22 cal pellet gun. Its quite loud.

    1. I've read the pressure from the diesel explosion is rough on the spring and seal of the gun. Do some digging around and confirm if this can be done for long periods of time.

  4. Way back last millennium I worked a job with actual men - every Friday afternoon when the work was done we’d have a BBQ & 1 or 2 lite beers. One of the guys made a blow gun and we’d play darts with it. The darts were made from welding rod & had feathers like those. Good times, good memories.

  5. Yeah, I'm still a little pissawff that the Big Wheels came out after I was too big for them.
