This is the wrong way to do things. If team Blumpf does this and get’s away with it…the next Joe Biden that comes rattlin’ down those sewer pipes… is gonna have a hay day. Canada is chock FULL of these judicial mutts. The credibility of the judiciary is at stake. If your courts stop working, your country is sure to follow. The proper way to deal with abuse of authority is to rebuke and punish the offenders.
But… whadda I know, right?
The proper way is to impeach the judge for exceeding his authority then investigate his finances because i'm sure he's on the usaid gravy train.

EXACTLY. Their duties spell out their power and it’s graved in stone. There are laws and procedures for dealing with swine like these, and they have to abide by them the same as us. As it is, they are pulling the law out of their ass and trying to make it themselves. It can’t work like that.
DeleteIt was supposed to be a balanced three-way tie for power between the legislative, the judicial, and the executive branches. Over time the legislative has ceded their power to the bureaucracy and the judicial has been infiltrated by progressives who continually attempt to overpower the executive. And the executive tends to flop over like a dead fish and not fight back. It's time to restore some of the original balance. The executive NEEDS to push back against the judicial, and hard. And the bureaucracy needs to be trimmed so the legislative is forced to do the job instead.
ReplyDeleteYes, in saner times the goose/gander argument you apply would actually mean something. But in this case, Obama/Biden were the original goose and Trump is the gander. So yeah, they set the precedent without considering the implications and Trump is bowling them over with it. We need to restore the balance and then rein in all three branches so people can be "just left alone".
The other option is to burn it all down, hang all the judges and politicians, and divvy up the country into the haves and the have-nots. Cause there really ain't a third option here.

The Executive can decide which payments it can disperse on Executive level organizations--which USAID (an organization that was created with an Executive Order by Pres Kennedy) falls under. No judge, who is part of the judicial branch of government, can order the Executive branch to do anything within the Executive branch's purview. In other words, the judge is outside his lane. Unlike Canada, the three branches of the US government each have very well-defined lanes of power and ALL are very conscious and protective of their respective lanes.
