I don’t miss my first bike at all - a 1976 Honda 360. It was slow as molasses and way too small. I stepped up to Honda 1982 CX 500 after that and it was better… but still… way too small. When it finally died I fell out of motorcycles for awhile… and swore that if I ever got back in…I wasn’t going to bugger around with a 750… I was gonna go right on up into the big street cruisers. My current ride is a Kawi 1700cc… and I’m not quite ready to downsize just yet. I dunno what the next bike will be…

ReplyDelete650 and up to early 80's Honda CB 900 (type) seems like a sweet area for this geezer. Although, if yer comfortable with yer 1700, not much reason to change. Controllable balance seems like the driving priority to me.
