Yes, it IS huge - if true. Employee and employer relations can be very nasty things especially when they get adversarial. Kinda like marriages maybe? For some, when it’s time to part the road between them, it’s a license to kill. Sour employees will sabotage the company, set time bomb-type problems that will blow up after they’re gone, or can cause all kinds of mayhem motivated by spite. With that crowd…there’s probably no RIGHT way to do it short of car bombs, poison, or switchblades.
Purges are very nasty business, especially when they are desperately needed. Historically…if you were a liability to the new regime - you’re dead. If the new regime thought you were going to be a liability - you’re dead!

Elections have consequences, or so I've heard. I think they all already know what's going happen, so Mikey is just scoring some social media MAGA points by saying the quiet part out loud. And yeah, the sabotage gambit is already going on. Going happen regardless, look at what Biden's handlers are doing right now. I bet they take all the T keys out of the keyboards too.
