Apparently Raquel auditioned for the part of Mary Anne on Gilligan’s Island. How did she lose? A hundred years ago I came across an article that said the actress that eventually landed the part… turned into a giant pot head in her old age and she looked absolutely ghastly.
Drug culture is not kind to people over time… and seems to hit women especially hard.
