I find myself at odds with my faith. So many Christians are going silent as church mice on stuff like this. Or trying to rationalize it. There is no virtue or Godliness in this.
Romans 12:17-21 applies here. We certainly don't wish to repay evil with evil. I think violent protests are wrong and at the same time I think governments failure to represent the best interest of the people is wrong. As the man said, this is a hard teaching. It leaves me in silence, as well. I cannot support either side.
I understand the Christian impulse to be generous, giving and fair. But dumping thousands of unchristian, violent and feral people on others that can’t support or control them is an act of pure evil. If you want to quote Scripture, Isaiah states that such ungodly people are to be shunned and avoided, and God’s people have to protect themselves.
The turn the other cheek only applies when actual danger or harm is unlikely
1 Timothy 5:8 “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.”
Timothy tells us to keep the other away from our lands and not to support them. It also says those that bring the other into our land should be treated as an infidel
Where did you get your faith? In Whom is your faith? Is He mighty to save, or are you going it alone? You need to get into Scripture...memorise it, the days are coming where you will be very fortunate to even have a Bible. Get your eschatology straight, then you will know where you are on the timetable, these things are given as comfort.
Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one.
For it was the Lord's doing to harden their hearts that they should come against Israel in battle, in order that they should be devoted to destruction and should receive no mercy but be destroyed, just as the Lord commanded Moses.
Psalm 127 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
I am developing a split personality over this. Yes, it is noble and virtuous to be tolerant, to rescue people in need, and to be caring...
But hell's bells - to import ignorant, violent people and dump them into communities that can't support them is to sew the seeds of genocide. The third world is what it is because of the people that live there. And now they are here. They aren't christians, they aren't north Americans. They are opportunistic primitive people that want everything we have but they don't want to do any of the things that make it possible. And these bloody virtue signalling church toads dump them into high trust societies and pose as noble heroes while leaving their fellow countrymen to deal with the fallout. I am watching the cops in Ireland whine and bitch that they are getting hurt and run ragged trying to impose this lunacy and I have no sympathy for them whatsoever. They are as bad as the cucked Christians and they deserve the lumps they are getting.
My mother is the same way. She lives in an affluent white retirement community with the big house and immaculate lawn where the coloured people are obedient, well behaved servants. I've told that old bitch that she needs street chitters, Somalians and Hatians in HER neighbourhood... and then she gets all pissy and frumpy and tells me I'm a nazi...
It's all fun and games unless it happens in YOUR neighbourhood...

Deuteronomy 28:43-44 would seem appropriate. That IS what's happening...

As McC notes… the Bible is not a suicide pact.
ReplyDeleteJesus instructed us to turn the other cheek, but nowhere did He say we should stay within arm's length and continue to be hit.
ReplyDeleteJesus was meek, but He wasn't a milquetoast. At some point, you have to defend yourself and your land.

McChuck covered a lot of ground well. We are to defend our nations when invaded. Judges 3:12-30 covers how to deal with misrule by foreigners.
