The women I have worked with over the years who pulled their weight and earned their keep (and there are some out there) wouldn't be on board with horseshit like this.
Kinda what my USMC buddy told me today. "If they can do what the men have to do, I accept them. If not, fuck off." He said 1 chick hacked basic, the rest got slid through.
Not all that served are heroes. I am currently walking the Camino in Spain, and met a female American veteran of the second Iraq conflict about a month ago. She was totally FITH (effed In The Head) and obsessed with dead things and death in general. Counting dead snails, road killed birds etc that she saw every day. Freaking weird shit. She was in her early 30’s and very attractive to look at. She had a constant cloud of international dudes hanging off her every word trying to get in her pants. She was very loud & proud about being a veteran, and made sure everyone knew it after 10 mins of meeting her. It turns out she was a clerk, stationed in a major base, far from the front lines. She was never in combat and no-one ever shot at her. But she lost her mind because officers kept telling her what to do all day. She just couldn’t cope. Also she H A D to tell us she had a Haitian boyfriend. I was surprised she didn’t tell us she was a vegan.
