I fear and loathe rotorcraft on general principles
… but if I were a military man
I’d want as many of these things in the air that I could get.

I guess the National Guard is grounding a bunch of these things because of couple unexplained mishaps. The first thing I suspected was diversity but the pilots were apparently experienced… but given the integrity of the military and the media who knows what’s really going on.

  1. Doesn't matter how experienced the pilots are when the ground crews are diversity hires.

  2. There's an ANG (air nat'l guard) base nearby and these critters violate my air space quite often, they're especially cool to watch when doing night ops. You doin' OK?

  4. Positive rate…gear up…autopilot, engage….. guess who’s now flying your aircraft? The last mechanic or avionics weenie to work on that system. We don’t get faa mandated crew rest nor limits to hours worked over x number of days. Sleep tight tonight, your maintenance crew is awake…we’re friggin exhausted, but we’re awake. Sorta. If you don’t look too closely……šŸ˜†šŸ˜†
