Crypto

When nations fail economically they inevitably attack their own citizens with confiscatory taxes, monetary claw backs, etc. If the story I have is correct FDR banned the use of precious metals and barter in commerce… he wanted everyone to trade in his newly restructured dollar. He had a tough go of it because it was largely unenforceable and a lot of the people were against him on it.

Nowadays with all our money and transactions on computer…a nation can much more effectively prey on its citizens through cyber surveillance and warfare. Here in Canada Turdo La Doo froze up the bank accounts of people he didn’t like during the trucker revolt.

Hiding your assets and hedging your bets is going to be a survival skill if things keep going the way they are. Traditionally folks stacked gold and silver. Now I’m told bitcoin is the way to go as it is completely independent of any world govt. Supposedly you can send money to people even in a dump like the Ukraine and there’s no way the corrupt govt can interfere.

Yet…all our money and transactions are 1’s and 0’s on a computer. Govts can track your financial history and habits as well as you can. In China they simply banned crypto and if you get caught using it you go to the work camps or worse. In China, the vast amount of crypto trade is that officially approved and allowed by the state.

Is crypto worth looking at as another prep for a financial chit storm? It doesn’t seem so to me…

  1. We looked into it a while back and to get an account on CoinBase I had to send them a photo of my drivers licence and or passport (can’t remember if it was both). My gut said HELL NO ! I’m not sending the juiciest haxxor target in the world a copy of my likeness, DoB, home address, license & passport number AND my signature.
After reflecting on it, I’m fairly certain it is simply a training bra to get the kids addicted to CBDCs so all countries can destroy cash at the same moment. After all, it’s just sooooooooooo convenient! Riiiiiight ????

  2. They got to the bank accounts via the smart phone everyone brought to the festivus. Data being sucked up like an Filter Queen on shag with tech such as stingray and the plane in the air. What are you gonna get for your cripto if the dolla is worth as much as that fresh turd on the lawn? I recommend tangibles for barter that make life livable...and no, I'm not talking Patek Philippe!

  3. Crypto is nothing but a ponzi scheme, and created by the intelligence community.

  4. Seems to me that a currency dependent on electricity and the internet is a terrible choice for a SHTF situation of any sort.
