Back when Penneys was just a nicer version of Sears. Now they try to be all fancy and shit, I like to walk in and ask where the gun counter is just to freak out the staff. Used to have a "Made for JC Penneys" rifle back in the day. Forget who actually made it, think it was some down and out British brand.
Ha! Mini-bikes were advertised in every hot-rod magazine I read back in the 60's. They're kinda making a comeback as I've seen them at Tractor Supply farm store when I go there. - WDS
Gosh, I remember those, and was envious of those their parents bought one. I tried to save up my pop bottle nickels and it always seemed something else would catch my eye, or going to the movies or buying .22s to go shooting with your buds always seemed to get in the way. I look back and know that had I saved up my nickels and dimes, the parents would never let me buy one after all...I'd probably would have killed myself as when I got older I bought a Yamaha 360RT and damned near killed myself on that.
