  1. Genius. Appears to be a Hemingray no. 42 insulator and worth maybe six bucks. Some carnival glass insulators are valuable to collectors.

  2. Damn. It must've been fun drilling through the top of that thing! That's some thick-ass glass!

    I've got a few of those old open wire insulators holding down the windowsill in the ham shack. EVERY... old telephone man has a few of these things lying around... I don't know why... We just do...
